Monster High series: Frankie Stein

Hello everybody!

Here's the promised tutorial for Frankie Stein's makeup tutorial. :)

Step 1
Prime your eyes with your primer of choice. Line your upper and lower waterline with a soft black eyeliner pencil.
Step 2
Apply Nyx Jumbo pencil in "Milk" over your lid and smudge it out, patting gently with your finger.
Step 3
Press on a light pink eyeshadow over your whole lid, leaving a little space in your inner corner. Just like in the Draculaura tutorial I've used "Matt glory" from Make Up Store. But any bright Hello Kittyish pink color will do! :) Blend it out but don't overblend since we still want to be able to see the shape. To help the blending you can use a color similar to your skintone. For me that is "Blanc type" from Mac.

Also apply Nyx Jumbo Pencil in "Milk" beneath your lower lash line and smudge it out.

Step 4
Apply a reddish purple to your outer C and drag the color into your crease. For this I've used a small pencil brush.
I've used a Mac #217 to blend the color out.

Apply Nyx Jumbo Pencil in "Milk" in the inner corner of your eye and if needed a bit more under your lower lash line. Blend it out using your finger.

Step 5
Frankie Stein has a peppermint green skintone and if you're going to a masquerade you might want to use a minty green all over your face.

To make the look more wearable however I added just a touch of peppermint green in the inner corner and under the eye.

The green I've used comes from the 120-palette.

Step 6
Apply a dark green eyeshadow, such as "Humid" by Mac, in the outer corner under your eye. Blend it in well with the peppermint green.

Now it's time for your base. After doing your concealer and foundation routine, powder your face with a soft wash of white or translucent powder.

You can stop here but if you wish to have that green I-feel-sick-glow worthy a true Monster High student, take some of the peppermint green eyeshadow and sweep it all over the face, neck and ears. You don't have to use much, just a little to give your skin a blueish green tone.

Step 7
With a sharp, angled brush add some black eyeshadow to your upper lashline.

Use a warm, soft brown on your eyebrows.

Pop on some black mascara and a pair of false eyelashes and you're done. :) The lashes I've used are the usual, Ardell #105.

The lips should be red and glossy. I've used Isadora Lip Liner in "Prime red" and over that some e.l.f. Luscious Liquid Lipstick in "Cherry tart".

I didn't add the scar because I was going to wear this makeup the rest of the day and I would've felt quite stupid walking around with a scar painted on my face. :P

Hope you like this tutorial! :)
